Brass
Similar to our copper worktop, brass offers hard wearing work surface that is ultra-low maintenance and extremely hygienic.

Our brass worktops offer a stunning alternative to your workshop, with antimicrobial properties making it extremely hygienic.
A mix of copper and zinc, brass will naturally oxidise over time, usually darkening in appearance. As a living material, it is ever changing in its colour and appearance, requiring very little maintenance – cleaning usually only requires washing up liquid and a soft cloth. Regardless of what is spilled onto the surface, brass can be cleaned back to the original shiny surface, however highly acidic products can, if left on the surface, stain or mark the brass surface.
The material is hard wearing, suitable for use in busy environments. As a ‘soft’ metal, brass can be prone to scratching easily and will dent if a heavy item is dropped on it. When exposed to heat, brass will expand. It is not suited to extreme temperatures as this can cause the surface to delaminate.
Brass is an ecofriendly material and can be recycled at the end of its life.
